A mainly outward facing day

Out into the world today, firstly to the local show – looking for inspiration about further livestock.

Horses seem to need a lot of bling

and we are not sure if we have the right clothes

Plus riding them seems a bit hazardous

Donkey transport also looks quite dangerous

We were eyeing up the sheep

although it is too late for us to enter the young handler class

We found ourselves leaning towards Balwens

We brought a back-scratching comb for Bert from an old tool man

Back home we are alerted by a loud bang and plume of black smoke down the valley.  It was an exploding tractor down at the wood yard.  No one was hurt and the fire brigade soon arrived

The thing is – so did a number of other people from up and down the valley to check everyone was ok.  Back home the plume of smoke dimmed to grey
