We don’t need a weatherman to know…

One nice thing about living on top of a hill is that we can watch the weather all around. We see heavy showers sweeping down the valley, not touching us but saving their efforts for when they reach Manchester.

Today, again having been promised snow, we watched as the localised blizzards flitted across the horizon and admired their deposits

then we saw the one with our name on it

ten miles to the North and heading our way

it swept towards us

To be honest, it was nice to have a bit of snow but it did not amount to much.

It did highlight the trees in that counter-shading mode which gives a new way of looking

But was not heavy enough to prevent the sheep from continuing to munch
