  1. Ooooooooooo! Thanks for saving the yellow pears! Every year is different. The frost got to the toms which were still laden with green cherries. I know I could use them for green tomato chutney, but I haven’t got around to red tom chutney and was thinking of apple chutney this year! I really hate the waste. Sometimes they will still ripen off the vine but they are losing their flavour. Some even bitter.
