    1. Thank you. Have a strange relationship with the starlings. Love them but can’t afford to feed all of them. There are tens of thousands that pass over us. We do have our Winter locals though and I currently have a bird with a broken leg that I feed by the kitchen window but they do eat our hen and duck food – we keep trying to prevent that. Then there is the food for our small birds which they devour so we have to try to give an extra feed when the starlings have flown off to bed in our neighbour’s barn or the reeds.
