but our thoughts are with the next season….

Winter visitors evicted from potting shed and their party mayhem cleared out
We were determined the green house would remain in use during the winter and not become a dumping zone. It became a dumping zone. Some normality has been restored
and the first seeds arrive
It feels like Spring today. We know it is not Spring. We know that Winter has many tricks up its sleeve. But it feels like Spring.
So we look for signs of Spring:
and at the same time spot a remarkable range of wildlife:
being at a High Centre
with a Steady Glass all day
we start the day with Frosty Filigrees
and end with a Fiery Firmament
The notion that life is going on somewhere else, not here…Most people have to be continually on the move because pleasure or experiences are contained in all of those other places…
If you can stay still in one place all of that experience might come to you… Being committed to one place can feed you sufficiently.
Five years ago today we came to this place. It is feeding us sufficiently – and we don’t mean vegetables.

not knowing that after dark its every move is magnified for our evening entertainment

and Foolery, sir, does walk about the orb like the sun, it shines everywhere
Today the Tree Mendus Brothers skillfully thinned the top of the Eucalyptus trees so they catch less wind and are therefore less likely to come crashing down in unhelpful places.
