Things That Grow in Wales in March

Daffodils

obviously

and Jonquils.

Although some of ours are quite small in recognition of the fact we are not really Welsh

The first sign of a Fritillary

Cowslips

and Primroses

The Yew Hedge round the Orchard has been completed

20200318-20200318-10

thanks to Geronimo, who today finished the eBay sponsored mixed beech hedge

which also financed these

Elsewhere, last year’s Beetroot is flourishing

20200318-20200318-24

and next month’s salad is starting

20200318-20200318-21

The Tarragon is waking up

20200318-20200318-25

as are the Delphiniums

This Laurel is ceasing to grow

in order to bring more light into the wood.

And of course the Welsh Toilet-Roll-Tree is proving a boon

  3. Your plot is looking really well stocked. I was hoping to call in again this Spring when I planned a visit to the borders to see my Yorkshire friends who had decamped to the area. Now sadly can’t see how this will happen. Maybe early Autumn? Who knows! Stay safe and take good care of yourselves xx

    1. Good to hear from you Val. Obviously we only photograph the well stocked bits. Would be really good to see you when it is possible. We are going to try and resume more regular postings on the blog – while keeping our eBay sales going at the same time. Just wrapping up 13 things to go in the post tomorrow – more trees.
