The Met Office told us that today we would be blanketed by heavy cloud so we decided to mostly spend our time looking into the distance
But then, looking closer to home, we could detect signs of life
We sometimes feel our resident flock of Starlings are providing surveillance
Although they do have a vested interest
The Nuthatch, on the other hand, is really watching us
to say he is a bit annoyed by the influx of goldfinches taking over his feeders
